Event Professional Exchange has been set up with remote workers in mind – so that they have a venue to meet clients or network with like-minded professionals in central London.
The idea comes from David Preston and Richard John who run Realise, a specialist industry training company that is also pioneering an event apprentice programme.
Preston said: "So many people in our industry work remotely, or don’t need an office because they are always on site.
"However, we felt there was a need for an accessible London venue where they could work, meet clients or just grab a few minutes of recharge time, in the company of like-minded professionals."
The club will be based close to the City of London in Birchin Lane, minutes from Bank Station. The Event Professionals Exchange is at The Brand Exchange, in a Grade II listed building that includes five private rooms that are available for hire.
Members can also hire rooms on behalf of their clients.
