The European Wound Management Association (EWMA) Conference will take place at ExCeL London, from 13-15 May 2020, and is expected to welcome over 4,000 delegates from across Europe including nurses and doctors, as well as other medical professionals such as micro-biologists and psychologists.

EWMA chose to return to ExCeL following its successful conference at the venue in 2015 and because of the highly respected practitioner and research community based in London.

"We are delighted to be bringing our congress to London," said Sue Bale, EWMA president.

"The city offers everything an international conference attendee needs, including excellent transport connectivity, a wide range of hotels and great options for after hours. London is also renowned as a centre of medical excellence, with globally respected hospitals and universities. We look forward to working with ExCeL and London & Partners to create a truly memorable event for all our delegates in 2020."

"We are delighted to have been selected again as the host venue for the EWMA Conference and to welcoming delegates to our International Convention Centre via the new Elizabeth Line transport system," added James Rees, executive director, ExCeL London.

"This multi-disciplinary medical conference is a significant event that will be supported by ExCeL’s location close to renowned research and medical facilities in London. We look forward to working with EWMA in the build-up to 2020, helping them to deliver a successful event for their delegates."
