Capella Ubud Bali retreat opens 29 June

Luxury tented accommodation in the Balinese rainforest offering a range of culinary and wellness experiences.

Capella Ubud, an ultra-luxurious tented camp set in the heart of the Balinese rainforest, is opening on 29 June.

Celebrated architect and designer Bill Bensley has created this stunning rainforest retreat as a tribute to a spirit of adventure.

Set on four hectares against a dramatic backdrop of lush rainforest and sloping rice terraces by the Wos River – 20 minutes north of Ubud – this hidden sanctuary has chic designer accommodation.

Each of the 22 tented retreats each features a bespoke theme and a private salt water Jacuzzi.

Experiences at Capella Ubud also include bespoke culinary journeys visiting the retreat’s honey farms, coffee, tea & cocoa plantations and the working boutique farms of Keliki Village, medicinal culinary healing, spiritual healing, and adventure wellness with jungle boot camps.

The retreat also features The Cistern, a one-of-a-kind outdoor rainforest pool; The Armory – a tented gymnasium; The Camp Fire culinary experience and The Api Jiwa gourmet restaurant.
