MCI UK has reported a turnover increase to £5,281,416 million for the financial year ending 31 December 2017, compared to £5,029,835 million for the previous year.

In accounts published on Companies House, gross profit has also risen to £2,604,995 million from £2,421,682.

Writing in the report included with the accounts, company secretary Mark Wheeler wrote that in 2017: "Business with corporate customers remained steady with a small amount of growth compared to 2016 coming from repeat events and new client wins.

"Business development is the key focus to build upon the success of 2017 and to continue growth in 2018 and beyond," he added.

He also commented that a "review of resource structure resulted in significant reduction in administrative costs and a lean and flexible staffing structure which was targeted to deliver high quality work and simultaneously seek growth through excellent relationships with clients. This continues to be the focus for 2018."

The company recently made Kim Myhre managing director of MCI UK and MCI Experience, with Max Fellows being appointed director of client services at MCI Experience.
