Upstage appoints chief creative officer

Former BCD M&E VP Matthew Wall has joined the agency as chief creative officer.

Former EMEA vice president, operations at BCD M&E Matthew Wall, has joined Upstage, the London and New York-based engagement agency as chief creative officer.

Since leaving BCD in 2014, Wall has been consulting for a number of UK and global agencies, as well as taking on speaking engagements including facilitating HBAA’s annual conference in Manchester last year.

"I am thrilled that a well-known and well-respected industry professional like Matthew is joining us at Upstage," said chief engagement officer and owner, Phil White.

"We have experienced unprecedented growth in EMEA and in the US over the last three years, created by the need for genuinely creative audience engagement, and that is where Matthew shines. Our teams in London and in the States will benefit hugely from his experience and creative flair."
