Rachel Axford’s main responsibilities in her new role at Penguins will be to plan, implement and produce events across the whole of the business.

Axford started her career in events in summer 2012 where she worked with innovision – a live event and experience planner’s agency – working on experiential campaigns for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, as well as working on the British Business Embassy campaign, which ran at Lancaster House throughout the 2012 Olympics.

Her most recent roles were for BCD Meetings & Events, firstly as a project manager and latterly as a senior event logistics manager.

"It’s a great achievement to expand the project management team and have Rachel join us," said Mark Buist, managing director of Penguins.

"With her expertise and knowledge of the events industry we are confident she will hit the ground running and continue to drive our business forward."
