NYX Hotel opens in Madrid

New property has 180 rooms as well as 'a colourful and stylish' 70s interior design theme.

The NYX Hotel Madrid is now open in the banking and business district of the Spanish capital.

The 180-room hotel is designed to have a distinctly 70s feel and features lots of local art. It also has a rooftop pool, which will be open from June

"With the opening of the NYX Hotel Madrid, we’re offering our guests a hotel that impressively combines design, art, music and nightlife – a dynamic environment that appeals to all the senses," said Daniel Roger, managing director of Fattal Hotels Europe.

"I’m extremely proud that we now have a third NYX hotel in our portfolio and I’m also pleased that we’ll be opening a hotel in Bilbao in early 2019."

The centrepiece of the hotel is its spacious open lobby, which directly connects the lounge, restaurant and bar.
