Brand experience agency WRG has appointed Craig Wilson as technical director and has also made further appointments to five new roles across its London and Manchester offices.

Wilson will provide technical leadership, boosting the agency’s technical capabilities and its live events offering.

Based in Manchester, Wilson will lead in the delivery of highly complex and technically challenging brand experiences across WRG’s client base including Google and high-profile healthcare brands.

Craig brings a wealth of technical experience gained in theatre production and roles at event agencies Crown and Jack Morton, where he set up a technical department in Dubai.

Russ Lidstone, CEO of WRG and The Creative Engagement Group, said: "Delivery is everything ...and this new role will enable us to create even more unforgettable brand experiences for our clients."

The company is also boosting its live and creative capabilities, with Hannah Burke joining as project manager in the environments team with Michael Irvine as junior project manager.

In Manchester, Steve Porter takes up the role of producer with Ella Wilson and Beth McDuff as project coordinators.

Head of environments Mark Jackson said: "We’re investing in the growth of our teams across live and environments to reflect the increased demand from our clients for live and experiential campaigns.

"I’m delighted to welcome Hannah, Michael, Steve, Ella and Beth to The Creative Engagement Group."
