Meetings Africa 2018 celebrated its 13th year as it brought together international hosted buyers for a two-day trade show in South Africa.

The event hosted meetings, such as BONDay and Educational Day with help from key industry associations such as SAACI, SITE, EXSA, Event Greening Forum and ICCA.

Exhibitors were able to network with more than 400 hosted buyers including face-to-face meetings with key decision-makers, using a matchmaking online diary system.

Delegates included African, international and local meeting and event planners, association buyers who organise international conventions, local corporate executives and travel agencies specialising in incentive, business and conference travel.

Other attendees included in-house events coordinators, incentive houses, conference organisers, sales and promotion agencies, marketing companies and PR agencies.

The show from 27-28 February was hosted at the Santon Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa.
