New Mayfair venue opens on site of former Vidal Sassoon academy

Venue Lab has added to its portfolio of event spaces with a historic West End building in central London.

Called Fifty Six Brook Street the new Mayfair venue can hold 150 people, in seven rooms across four floors.

It’s hoped the minimalist, all-white walls will provide a "canvas ideal for creating versatile visions".

The venue is located in Mayfair, opposite Claridge’s Hotel and is two minutes walk from Bond Street tube station.

Venue Lab has sought to harmonise period and contemporary architecture, including a stucco-faced front, to remodel high ceiling interiors with a geometric staircase, spot lighting and a minimalist look.

Fifty Six Brook Street was formerly the headquarters of the Vidal Sassoon hair academy and was once occupied by the 13th Baron de Brook and painter Henry Tresham.
