David Fisher has joined Freeman as sales director, custom build, in EMEA.

He brings over 20 years’ sales and sales management experience to the company, including a number of years spent specialising in the area of bespoke exhibition stands.

Throughout this time Fisher has successfully won new business, managed existing client relationships and led sales teams to exceed their targets. Fisher also previously enjoyed an extensive career in commercial radio, eventually becoming managing director of Mercia FM in Coventry.

In a move designed to grow the company’s bespoke stand offering in the region, the custom build team has also welcomed Lucy Clarke as business development manager.

Existing team member Mark Woods has also recently been promoted from business development executive to business development manager.

"David brings strong leadership skills and a proven track record of success to the business, and I have every confidence in his ability to lead our custom build team," said Chris Preston, managing director at Freeman in EMEA.

"We’re as focused as ever on working with our clients to ensure they achieve their goals, by redesigning the industry, rethinking what brand experiences are capable of achieving, and pushing the boundaries of creative, strategy, service and planning."

Fisher added: "I have a great passion for live events and it’s awe-inspiring to see brands come to life in these settings through custom stands that engage attendees in new ways."
