Event agency AOK Events has appointed Chris West as business development executive after securing Paddy Power Betfair as a client.

Previously of Villiers, Chris has worked on high-profile sporting events including the Rugby World Cup, the British and Irish Lions, The Championships, Wimbledon, the Australian Open, the Australian Grand Prix and the Melbourne Cup.

Jonathan Foulkes will also be joining the AOK Cavendish team in early February. Relocating from Leeds, he will become the third business development executive on the Cavendish team, specialising in corporate hospitality sales.

The agency plans to double the company size within the next three years as well as invest in at least two more unique revenue streams for the business.

"I am incredibly excited by the future here at AOK Events and I think we have an outstanding opportunity to become one of the dominant event management companies in the UK," said CEO Alex Hewitt.
