Pearl Representation hires Wayne Redman as Global Commercial Director

Pearl Representation takes on Wayne Redman as new Global Commercial Director amid "rapid expansion" of its growing global portfolio of DMCs.

Pearl Representation has announced the appointment of its new Global Commercial Director amid what the company says is a time of "rapid expansion" among its growing global portfolio of DMCs.

Wayne Redman joins the company bringing more than 20 years of expertise across the leisure, corporate and MICE market.

Redman began his career in Cape Town as a key member of an inbound DMC.

After he moved to London he joined South Africa Airways in 2007, before driving and expanding Eithad Airways’ MICE sector, and helping strengthen Abu Dhabi as a global destination.

In 2016 Wayne was approached to join The Viceroy Hotel as Group & Incentive Sales Director for the UK and Europe.

Redman said: "Pearl Representation is a leading specialist sales and marketing representation organisation representing DMCs in the travel and service industry."

Pearl is expected to announce further details on a number of additions to its portfolio on 1 February.
