AccorHotels to open Le Grand Amman in 2019

The redesigned property in Jordan with 298 rooms and 67 serviced apartments will be near the upcoming Abdali Downtown Project.

Le Grand Amman is set to open in Jordan towards the end of 2019. It will have 298 rooms and 67 serviced apartments

The property will be close to the upcoming Abdali Downtown Project, a "ground-breaking" development, pitched to become Amman’s top leisure, tourism and business hub.

Event planners can get access to eight meeting rooms and what is described as the largest ballroom in Amman for large-scale events.

AccorHotels Middle East CEO Sami Nasser said: "Jordan continues to attract an increasing number of visitors due to its culturally-significant destinations and dynamic economy. Through projects such as Abdali Downtown, Jordan is set to witness incredible growth in the number of leisure and business travellers."

The hotel will have two speciality restaurants, an all-day dining restaurant, a trendy lobby lounge and bar along with a pool bar, spa with health club, as well as indoor and outdoor pools.
