The Business Visits and Events Partnership (BVEP) has confirmed the re-election of several key executive committee members.

Samme Allen and Dr Caroline Jackson are confirmed as vice chairs for a further two years. They join Chris Skeith and Simon Hughes, who both continue as vice chairs for a further year.

Welcoming the appointments, BVEP Chairman Michael Hirst OBE, said: "I am delighted that Samme and Caroline have been re-elected to their positions on the committee.

"Their appointments provide much needed continuity as the partnership steps up its role to offer partner organisations greater collaboration in pursuit of more growth in Britain’s all-important events sector.

"There has never been a more crucial time for the industry’s leading representative bodies to work together to make the most of a much clearer understanding of what a coordinated approach by the sector can achieve for the UK economy."
