The property will be located next to the Bay of Camamu on the Maraú Peninsula in Bahia, along a stunning stretch of Atlantic coastline.

Anantara Maraú will initially offer a choice of 30 guest rooms, suites and bungalows. This will be followed by the resort’s expansion which will add new suites and bungalows in beachfront and garden settings, some with a private pool.

Facilities will include a swimming pool, gym, spa, tennis courts and beach volleyball. Dining will be tailored by a personal chef and butler, with a choice of venues, including an intimate table on the beach, either at sunset or under the stars.

Local experiences include surfing, paddle boarding, quad biking and horse riding to the Carapitangui River. Nature lovers can take a speedboat to the Tremembé Waterfall and its natural bathing pools, as well as nearby tropical islands. Taipus de Fora boasts one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil, where guests will also be able to scuba dive in seas abundant with live coral.
