C&IT's two-day Incentives Retreat 2017 kicked off on Monday morning with a session from Tamara Lohan, CTO of Mrs and Mrs Smith who spoke about leisure travel trends that event planners can learn from.

This was followed by one-to-one meetings and a relaxed lunch. In the afternoon, Wildgoose led an Escape Room game, with winning team 'The Escapologists' awarded medals.

The evening began with a champagne reception and canapes at on-site restaurant The Kitchen, then an informal gala dinner back at the hotel. Beetroot and goats cheese salad was followed by brill, then a caramelised pear dessert, served with a selection of red and white wines.

Day two opened with a group breakfast and then a sneak peek of C&IT's new incentives report, plus an incentive travel panel with event professionals.

Lunch closed the second day, with delegates free to enjoy the grounds of the hotel or the hydo spa in the afternoon.
