IHG said the recent opening of its Los Angeles Downtown hotel means it will have the tallest building west of Chicago, elevated into the Los Angeles skyline at 1,100 feet or 73 stories.

The LA InterContinental also features almost 95,000 square feet of meeting, conference and banquet space, both indoor and outdoor, and a 21,000 square-feet elegant Grand Ballroom, as well as 33 meeting rooms.

IHG also unveiled its Perth City Centre hotel last month, and announced the recent opening of The Quayside, Robertson Quay in Singapore.

For MICE travellers, the 'Gallery Meeting Suites' provide a reimagined environment for business gatherings, seminars and more intimate events in ways not seen before in Perth thanks to a dedicated floor of four light filled suites, a central lounge area, private al fresco terraces and display kitchen.

The Quayside is a residential-inspired hotel concept set in a vibrant area - known for its dining options and art houses - along the Singapore River.

It has five intimate meeting and event spaces as well as an exclusive 24-hour Club InterContinental lounge.
