IBTM World kicks off in Barcelona

Event professionals have travelled to Barcelona for IBTM World, taking place from 28 to 30 November at the Fira Gran Via.

The 2017 programme includes knowledge sessions which will focus on several key topics such as AI, wellness and sustainability.

Highlights from the first day of the knowledge programme include:

  • Enablement technology for organisers

  • Industry trends watch 2017

  • Benchmarks for association success

  • Integrating data capture and ROI with digital

The 80’s-themed welcome reception will also take place from 6pm in Hall 3.

Sponsors for this year’s IBTM World include Monaco Convention Bureau and Cvent.

Last year, more than 3,000 exhibitors from 150 different countries attended the event over three days, with an increase in the number of appointments, networking opportunities and a renewed focus on innovation and technology.
