IBTM World set to open in Barcelona

Knowledge sessions and networking events will be taking place on all three days from 28-30 November.

It’s that time of year again, when the events industry heads to Barcelona for IBTM World (and hopefully a bit of Spanish sunshine).

There are more than 100 networking events and ‘knowledge sessions’ happening throughout the three days, attended by professionals from across the meetings, incentives, conferences, events and business travel industry. Many will also be exhibiting at IBTM World.

This year’s knowledge sessions are based on seven themes:

1. Industry trends
2. Engagement and experiences
3. Safety, security and risk management
4. Innovation, disruption and technology
5. Sustainability and CSR
6. Professional and staff development
7. Business development and strategy

Some of the session highlights include: Powered by People: A conversation with Fay Sharpe on talent acquisition strategies, Game-changing MICE technology for your event and Five essential tips for managing stress  - for busy event professionals.

C&IT magazine’s stand is K90, so please come and say hello if you have a chance. We'll be covering everything that's happening at IBTM too – keep an eye on the website and our daily News Tracker.
