Morukuru Beach Lodge will open in the 36,000 hectare De Hoop Nature reserve in early July 2018.
De Hoop has 51km of pristine white beaches and dunes beside the Indian ocean, limestone cliffs, rock pools and wetlands.
It is also home to one of the world’s smallest and most threatened regions – the Cape Floral Kingdom, home to the beautiful coastal lowland Fynbos.
The hotel is ideally located for a trip through Garden Route or for those who want to combine a visit to Cape Town (three hours’ drive or one-hour private charter flight away).
It is also close to wine regions, as well as prime spots for whale watching, snorkelling, mountain biking, hiking, bird watching and sand boarding.
