Aer Lingus has announced it is to fly four times a week from Dublin to Philadelphia from March 2018.

As well as having the nickname ‘The City of Brotherly Love’, Philadelphia is also known as the birthplace of American democracy.

The Irish airline also has plans to fly from Dublin to Miami from September 2018 and has targeted 10 other American cities to become new destinations with its new long-range Airbus A321LR by 2020.
