Royal Lancaster London will unveil its brand new design tomorrow, following its £80 million renovation. The hotel overlooking Hyde Park has been completely transformed both internally and externally.

With the opening of its opulent new entrance, the mid-century icon has reinstated its original name ‘Royal Lancaster London’ in time for the hotel’s 50th anniversary.

The entire frontage of the hotel has been remodelled and the exterior architecture now features a dramatic 8-metre high glazed façade revealing an impressive double-height reception space. The showpiece of the lobby is a palatial sweeping staircase made of 300 sqm of white Carrara marble, which wraps around to the first floor.

As one of the largest meeting venues in Europe, the hotel is renowned for its grand banqueting spaces, which encompass the magnificent Nine Kings Suite and the Westbourne Suite. With a total of 16 meeting spaces and modern banqueting kitchens, Royal Lancaster London’s conference rooms is able to cater for events of all sizes, from boardroom meetings and conferences, to exhibitions and gala dinners. The Nine Kings and Westbourne Suites can hold 2,400 guests collectively for a seated dinner.
