AAE partners with Central Hall Westminster for digital transformation seminars

Year-long series of ten seminars by the Association of Association Executives began last week.

Central Hall Westminster launched a new partnership with the Association of Association Executives (AAE) by hosting the first in a series of ten member seminars on digital transformation last week.

The first seminar, held in the central London venue’s George Thomas Room, began the 12-month series with a session on General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The two-hour session was led by an expert in GDPR helping associations to understand the facts behind the fiction surrounding the new GDPR, which comes into effect in May 2018.

Association members were given the opportunity to take a tour of Central Hall Westminster and learn more about its historic and architectural significance. A drinks reception topped off the highly educational afternoon.

Damian Hutt, executive director of the AAE, said: "We are delighted to be working with Central Hall Westminster in hosting our series of seminars on Digital Transformation for 2017/2018.

"This is a fantastic venue in the heart of London – it’s very impressive and unique.  Our members’ education is important to us. Being able to invite them to attend educational events at Central Hall gives us the confidence that they receive the very best from an event venue."

The C&IT Incentives Retreat is returning to the New Forest from 11-12 December, find out more here.
