Unicorn Events has hired a new events manager after mid-year figures showing a 68% increase in projected turnover and 42% increase in profit.

Elena Clowes joins from ILEA [International Live Events Association] UK, where she had been events and association manager for the UK arm of the global association. She returns to agency life after two years in her previous position.

Managing director, Hannah Luffman, who is also director of education for ILEA, said: "We have been looking for some time for a candidate who has both logistical experience and a curious nature for designing the ultimate creative solutions for our events. Elena fits the brand values of Unicorn Events perfectly and we are thrilled she is joining us."

Carlo Zoccali, president ILEA UK Chapter added: "Elena has been a massive part of the ILEA success story, and has grown a huge network of people that respect her hard work, diligence and many other qualities. We'll really miss her, but could not think of a better place for her than Unicorn Events."

Simon Berry has also joined Unicorn Events over the summer as event coordinator. As part of the creative agency’s  growth Elizabeth Parker has been promoted to launch Unicorns own brand events and workshops which will see a kick-off in the New Year.
