When footballer Roy Keane famously criticised the lack of atmosphere at Old Trafford, and put it down to those Manchester United supporters more interested in free drinks and prawn sandwiches than the match, he was, unwittingly, focusing attention on just how big the corporate offer at football clubs has become.
