The appointment will allow Rob Brazier to focus on his role as group sales director, having led Hampton Medical since it became part of the group in 2010.

Roffey will collaborate with the Rapiergroup leadership team to ensure Hampton Medical closer integrates the individual strengths of both agencies to create a proposition that supports the emerging trends of the sector.

Throughout his agency career, Roffey has been both on the front-line and led teams involved with business development and client management as well as leading global event projects for sectors including association, scientific, pharmaceutical, energy, financial and automotive.

Helen Seaman, managing director at Rapiergroup said: "As part of our strategy to grow the agency, we recognised the need to strengthen our management team and have increased focus in key development areas. When Rob Brazier and I first met Rob, it was clear that the three of us shared the same values and vision and we are therefore delighted that he has agreed to join us, which will allow for the continued development of Hampton Medical and allow Rob Brazier to lead the strategic growth of Rapiergroup.

"I would also like to put on record my thanks to Rob Brazier for his dedication and hard work in leading Hampton Medical to the strong position it finds itself in today. His continued leadership and this new appointment will add great value to the overall group."

Roffey added: "I am hugely excited to have the opportunity to join Hampton Medical and build on the platform that Rob and the entire team have created.

"The combination of association expertise within the existing Hampton Medical team coupled with the award-winning exhibition, creative and strategy led solutions delivered for Rapiergroup’s clients provides a great opportunity to raise the bar for our existing and future association client audiences.

"More so, I very much want Hampton Medical to be at the forefront of engagement with the wider association community and continue to forge close relationships with our partners and peers."
