"The most significant aspect of this year's budget is the increase in
Employer's NI contributions on employee benefits, from 11.8% to 12.8%,
which will take effect from April 2003. This rise will have a negative
impact on incentive activity and this includes travel, cash and
Robinson added that although the reduction in airport passenger duty was
a move in the right direction, the benefit would be minimal against the
overall cost of an incentive programme.
ITMA recently appointed John Greenway MP as a parliamentary advisor.
