The two day trip began with a visit to Semengoh orangutan sanctuary, with a chance to spot the primates in semi-wild surroundings. After a photo opportunity, the group ate a buffet lunch at the Hilton Kuching before carrying out site visits of the Pullman Hotel, USCI Hotel and USCI convention centre.
The evening was hosted at Le Pau restaurant with Malaysian cuisine served as dancers and musicians provided traditional entertainment.
On the second day, journalists were taken on a city tour which included a local museum to illustrate the history of Sarawak. A walk through the city market introduced guests to some of the local spices and foods.
An afternoon conference showcased the Redefining Global Business Tribes concept, then it was time to hit the obstacle course. The group completed a 3km obstacle challenge at Sarawak stadium, which was shown on Malaysian television.
The day concluded at a seafood restaurant in a fishing village where guests enjoyed crab, fish and shellfish while singing their favourite karaoke songs.
