Powwow appoints new event manager

Sophie Randall is now event manager with Powwow after a six-month freelance contract.

Powwow has appointed Sophie Randall as event manager after a six-month freelance contract.

Randall’s passion for events stems from her event management degree from Leeds Beckett University and was cemented with experience gained at The Appointment Group.

"Sophie’s contribution to our summer events has been outstanding, her calm and logical approach alongside her positive nature has ensured she has been a natural fit into the Powwow culture," said Katy Johns, director at Powwow. "We are delighted that she has decided to stay on with us."

Speaking of her appointment, Randall commented: "I’m really looking forward to continue working with the Powwow team and get involved in some of their exciting programmes this year.

"Working as a freelancer first has given me the opportunity to emerge myself in some amazing events and I feel that my skill-set and working style will be put to great use. I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in."
