EXCLUSIVE: Joy Thomas joins QuintilesIMS

Thomas joined the information and tech-enabled healthcare service provider as global event operations manager in August this year.

Joy Thomas has joined QuintilesIMS as global event operations manager.

She previously worked for Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) where she managed the internal events team. Before LBG she spent 15 years at US analytics business FICO running their global events function.

Thomas brings 17 years of hands-on event experience to her new operations post at QuintilesIMS. Operating as the project execution expert specifically supporting Europe, Middle-East, Africa and Asia-Pacific, she is part of the global marketing operations team. A major part of her new role is securing and managing the global event technology for the business which operates in more than 100 countries with over 50,000 employees.

Thomas said: "I am so pleased to be joining QuintilesIMS in this newly created Global Event Operations role based in their London office. It’s an exciting time for the business and this is fantastic opportunity for me to deliver some measured, connected and innovative events. I’m looking forward to working with a globally-based team once again and using my experience to its fullest."
