The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) has unveiled its newly refurbished Osler Room, following an interior design overhaul ahead of the RCP’s 500th anniversary year in 2018.

The Osler Room has the capacity to host up to 300 guests for receptions, dinners and events and is the largest banqueting space in the building.

Interior designer Wendy Purser has created a look in keeping with the prestige of the venue and its importance as a Grade 1 listed modernist building.

Natacha Allen, head of venue sales & marketing at the RCP, said: "We are thrilled to finally unveil our updated Osler Room following an intensive refurbishment programme.  The key enhancements that have been made have not only modernised the room but reflect the prestige of the RCP as we look to celebrate our 500th anniversary in the New Year."

To celebrate the reopening of the Osler Room, the RCP will be offering free room hire for all new reception and dining bookings made before January 2018.
