IACC names newly-elected European President

The International Association of Conference Centres (IACC) has announced their new European President.

Lotta Boman has been elected as the new European President of the IACC - an association for small to mid-sized global meeting-focused venues.

Boman brings with her 30 years’ experience in the hospitality and events industry. She was first associated with IACC in 2007, as vice-CEO of the Stora Brannbo Conference & Hotel venue, an IACC certified venue. In 2011, Boman went on to become an active member of the IACC Board.

Boman comments: "It’s an honour to be elected to lead the European chapter of IACC, representing some of the brightest minds in the industry. The coming year brings many exciting projects, and I’m looking forward to working with both our experienced Board members and new members, who will no doubt bring innovative ideas and new skills to the table. It’s both exciting and a privilege to be part of the association that leads the way in the industry."

Mark Cooper, CEO of IACC, says: "We are delighted to announce the appointment of Lotta as the European President; she brings with her a thorough understanding of IACC and our core values, having been a part of the association since 2007. The coming year will undoubtedly bring new challenges to the meetings and events industry, and Lotta’s experience reinforces our belief that she’s well qualified to lead the European chapter of IACC."
