Destination of the Week: Jungfrau region

Whether winter or summer, C&IT explores how the Jungfrau region in Switzerland has activities to suit all corporate groups' needs.

Jungfrau Region – always worth an adventure
Three imposing mountains - Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Five charming villages - Grindelwald, Wengen, Mürren, Lauterbrunnen, Haslital. One outstanding holiday destination - Jungfrau Region.

Where to stay & what to do
The value of the tradition is very high and the hotels are predominantly built in chalet-style and run by families. You have the choice from youth hostels up to 5* hotels. The most beds are available in the 3* hotel category. Musical, cultural, traditional and sporting events embellish the calendar year.

Discover our fascinating region on the footpaths, mountain bike trails, ski slopes or cross-country skiing trails - just to name a few possibilities.

Meetings and Conferences
The entire region offers event locations for up to 450 persons. The MICE infrastructure can be individually organised to meet with your requirement. The event organizers in the Jungfrau Region have a lot to offer. Eiger, Mönch and the Jungfrau provide the perfect scenery for workshops, seminars, congresses as well as association and company excursions.

An unforgettable experience
Equipped with a helmet, a rope and a pick the Incentive participants leave the train – in the middle of nowhere. The confused looks of the other passengers catches their eyes. The trail continues through the nearby tunnel with constant focus on the glimmering light ahead. Standing there, the participants start to realise their actual location: They are standing in the middle of the notorious Eiger north face, a place which up until then was reserved for approved mountaineers. This is not the case in the Jungfrau Region, MICE-Groups are offered a boundless experience.
