Simply Better Events reports 19% turnover increase

Simply Better Events has increased its turnover by 19% to £2.86 million in the financial year ending December 2016, and has hired a senior project manager to support growth.

Turnover increased from £2.32m for the year ending December 2015.To support this growth, Simply Better Events has appointed Lisa Roberts-Jones as a senior project manager. She joins the corporate events company’s operations team from We are Vista, where she was senior logistics manager.

She has 11 years’ experience in event delivery, venue search and delegate management and has worked with clients in a variety of sectors, including financial, automotive, retail, healthcare, technology, and the music industry, managing and delivering a variety of roadshows, conferences, AGMs, awards ceremonies and experiential events. She also has a degree in events management from Leeds Metropolitan University.

Roberts-Jones said: "I’m very happy to be joining Simply Better Events, this is a really exciting time for the company and I can’t wait to be part of the journey and see it grow even further."
