ACC Liverpool: the location for your next event

Located in the modern, vibrant and inspirational city of Liverpool, which has World Heritage status, ACC Liverpool offers a multitude of flexible event spaces, from exhibition halls to intimate meeting rooms, all offering spectacular views across the Mersey.

ACC Liverpool’s residential event campus site is home to BT Convention Centre, Echo Arena and Exhibition Centre Liverpool and features Europe’s only interconnected arena, conference and exhibition centres. Spaces include a tiered auditorium, breakout rooms, an exhibition centre and an arena, with theatre-style capacity for up to 6,000 people, 15,225msq of total exhibition space, banquet facilities for 80 to 3,000 covers, an 8,100msq blank canvas space and 28 breakout rooms.

Connectivity and more

ACC Liverpool is within easy reach, whether groups arrive by land, air or sea, with on-site parking available for 1,600 vehicles. Liverpool has two international airports, while the venue is just 20 minutes from the UK motorway network and closer still to ferries and trains. Liverpool is just a little over two hours from London by train, with frequent, daily connections.

And with ACC Liverpool offering an impressive 658 rooms onsite - including 216 in its interconnecting hotel Pullman Liverpool, which opened just last year, there is every reason to stay overnight or longer. The city centre offers a further 6,208 rooms, all within a 10-minute walk of ACC Liverpool, meaning large groups of delegates will get from breakfast to conferences on time and with ease.

Post-event, groups can explore a number of nearby food and drink options, head to Liverpool One, a retail and entertainment complex just minutes from the venue and explore attractions on site, such as the Wheel of Liverpool.

With a dedicated team working alongside planners every step of the way to ensure their event is the best it can be, it’s easy to see why the venue has been voted Best UK Conference Centre five years running and hosted a number of high-profile events this year. These include BBC Worldwide’s annual showcase in February, held at the venue for the sixth time, and which attracted around 700 of the world’s leading television and digital buyers. Office and work solutions supplies company Lyreco, meanwhile, took over the whole of the Exhibition Centre for its annual sales conference, also held in February.

Peace of mind

Hosting an event at ACC Liverpool couldn’t be easier for event planners. Whether making a proposal internally or researching venue space and facilities, ACC Liverpool’s ‘Pitch Toolkit’ contains essential venue and destination information, including layouts, images and details of hotels and supporting venues. Other tools available include drone footage, which offers access to views of the exterior and interior of the site in a variety of event configurations.

The venue also offers an ‘At Your Service’ package, offering everything needed to stage an event, from logistics to IT set-up to audio-visual equipment, alongside investing in the most up-to-date, flexible, robust and reliable IT equipment and support systems available.

So if it’s been a while since you considered Liverpool, there’s never been a better time to take another look at what the city and ACC Liverpool can offer you and your events.
