The event was entitled 'Major events in France: discover untapped opportunities for corporate events', where Clément Laloux, marketing director at Paris Tourism and Convention Bureau and Arnaud Santin, UK development manager at Amaury Sport Organisation presented the opportunities for corporate hospitality programmes.

Panellists presented case studies, such as Le Tour de France, Paris Marathon, raid Dakar (the world’s biggest off-road rally, set against the incredible backdrop of vast desert plains – the 1st launched in Africa) to demonstrate the impact and effectiveness of bringing groups to France. Panellists also shared tips on how to find the most suitable event for company objectives, how the local Convention Bureau, DMC or venue can assist and how long in advance brands should start planning to guarantee best rates and availability.
