The partnership has commenced with successful placements for two students, Lily Wells and Marcin Chmielewski, who joined ATPI Sports Events, the company’s dedicated sports travel, hospitality and events logistics division, to gain work experience in marketing and event management.

UCFB is a higher education provider specialising in university degrees in the football, sports and events industries inside and around Wembley Stadium, London and the Etihad Stadium, Manchester.

Kate Suddards, head of sports at ATPI Sports Events, said: "By collaborating closely with specialist colleges and universities across the UK we hope to help students cement their course learnings and, for those that thrive during their placement, provide invaluable opportunities to join one of the fastest growing brands in the sports travel and events industry. We have every confidence that the practical experience Lily and Marcin have gained with us will aid them to excel in their pursuit of a career in sports events management. We very much look forward to extending this opportunity to more students in the future."

Danny Stroud, complementary curriculum and employability manager at UCFB, added: "On behalf of the students and UCFB we are thrilled that Lily and Marcin have been given this amazing opportunity to test their skills at an organisation that has the calibre of ATPI Sports Events. Opportunities like this hold real merit on a student's CV and work to enhance the education they can gain from a degree at UCFB. The Complementary Curriculum and Employability team at UCFB hope for a long and successful partnership with ATPI Sports Events in the years to come."
