LIVERPOOL

HOTELS
The Shankley Hotel has unveiled nine brand new suites as part of the new Garden of Eden floor at the Signature Living venue, with one room boasting a ceiling made of flowers. A new hotel due to open in 2018 next to the Alma de Cuba bar, which is undergoing a revamp to feature samba afternoon teas, Cuban tapas and menus that arrive in a Bible, will be connected to the venue via a tunnel.

VENUES
Pen Factory offers a huge informal space for hire with great food and drink, in the shadow of Metropolitan Cathedral and Everyman theatre. In September the ACC Liverpool will open a VIP lounge in Echo Arena Liverpool, providing stunning views across the River Mersey making it ideal for conference breakouts and drinks receptions.

INCENTIVES
Pop-up venue Gin n' Juice Cafe Bar located on the waterfront will transform into a relaxed gin bar in the evenings with specialty gin cocktails. For big kids, Air Factory trampoline park is installing a ball pool which visitors can sit in while they play computer games which also involve players throwing balls at a screen to complete challenges.

RESTAURANTS
Mowgli on Water Street, a popular Indian street food place, is the restaurant's second site following great success on Bold Street. New restaurant Wreckfish will open after the biggest crowdfunding campaign for a restaurant in the UK reached its target in June.

MANCHESTER

HOTELS
Oddfellows On the Park, set within a Victorian mansion in the heart of Bruntwood Park, opened in April 2017 offering 22 boutique rooms just a 15-minute drive from Manchester Airport. After a £25m refurbishment to create 271 loft-style bedrooms and suites the Grade II-listed Palace Hotel has rebranded as The Principal Manchester.

VENUES
With a mission to be the UK's most creatively ambitious event space yet, Victoria Warehouse offers a blank canvas of unlimited potential. A new £3m extension has opened for events at The Monastery Manchester, a brand new eco-friendly wing for corporate and private events.

INCENTIVES
The Crystal Maze Experience presents the ultimate team challenge where delegates can test mental and physical abilities in four adventure time zones to earn crystals. Taking over an office building on Piccadilly Place, Junk Yard Golf provides a new take on mini-golf with two 'mashed up' courses of junk obstacles, while local DJs play and some of the city's most exciting street food vendors serve their fare.

RESTAURANTS
Set to be a game-changer in the continual revitalisation of Salford Quays and MediaCityUK, Alchemist MediaCity UK will sit within an architecturally stunning waterside building when it opens in the summer. The Refuge by Volta, housed in the Principal Manchester, has been created by two former DJs turned restaurateurs.
