Technology giant Cisco's Connect event took place at The Atlantis Dubai from 17-18 April for 1,500 guests over two days. TEC successfully won the pitch against UK-based agencies to host the event, which was the first global event TEC has worked on with Cisco.
The objectives of the event were to offer technical education sessions and networking opportunities. The agenda included keynote presentations, an exhibition area, several breakout sessions and a cocktail reception to close day one.
Natalie Crampton, director of TEC, said: "We have been building our relationship with Cisco for the past couple of years by working together on smaller events across the Middle East region. We are thrilled to have been able to work on Cisco Connect - a Cisco Global event. This has firmly put TEC on the map as a leading event agency in the Middle East region."

Google's Doubleclick leadership summit
Day one of Google's DoubleClick Leadership Summit was hosted by the Stephen's Green Club, a private members' club in the centre of Dublin, for a series of discussion-based meetings, followed by a kick-off evening at House Dublin with entertainment provided by a local Motown group.
To contrast with the two days of meetings in the Google offices where speakers shared updates about new innovations in digital marketing, Cogs & Marvel brought the delegates to the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, a 17th century venue, for an evening that reflected the splendour of the Downton Abbey-era.
Rosie Martineau, Google EMEA event manager, said: "DLS 2016 was a great success, thanks to Aoife and her team. The Royal Hospital Kilmainham was an impressive dinner venue choice for our guests to celebrate the close of the event."
