The agency, based near Surrey, has recruited Megan Pearce who previously worked for Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking and Ellie English, who has recently completed a BSc degree in Events Management and a successful year’s placement at etc.venues in London. Both have taken on roles as events coordinators.

Pearce said: "I am delighted to be joining the MGN team at an exciting time during a major period of growth. I already have a background in events organisation but working at MGN Events will give me the opportunity to really grow my skills with a wide range of very different clients in both the party planning and corporate events sectors."

Mike Walker, managing director of MGN Events added: "We are delighted to have won the several new large contracts recently including a complete event management service for a large corporate client together with events and party planning contracts for a professional football club, a toy retailer and an artisan bakery. Our team continues to grow and we are delighted to welcome Megan and Ellie as we develop, not only the corporate events side of our business, but our very successful bespoke party planning arm."
