As director of industry relations, he will be responsible for managing relationships with key suppliers and ancillary partners involved in the procurement and execution of meetings and events programmes.

Having been instrumental in setting up Zibrant’s hotel program, Morris brings a proven track record that encompasses relationship building, negotiation skills and data analytics while also balancing his commercial acumen with an approachable and open outlook.

He has been with Zibrant for nearly 15 years and brings a strong operational background and longstanding relationships with key hotel groups, conference and events venues and suppliers.

Reporting to Maritt Goedhart, VP client operations EMEA at BCD Meetings & Events, and Dave Sonricker, SVP industry relations, Adam will be based in the UK while also frequently visiting all BCD Meetings & Events country offices across the EMEA region.

Maritt Goedhart, VP client operations EMEA at BCD Meetings & Events said: "Adam will have full responsibility for managing our industry relations program for the EMEA region. His broad industry client and supplier experience means he was an ideal candidate for this role; and we are excited about how he will impact on our wider objectives and support our teams and suppliers in the region.

"We believe that aligning to both the EMEA country operations and global industry relations functions, we will provide a best in class approach for success, further asserting BCD Meetings & Events as a global leader."
