As a result of the high demand for more information on crisis management, the agency held an event to discuss the topics.

Richard Waddington, chairman of Pure Events, chaired the event and introduced the panel to 40 corporate event planners from the professional services sector, which included Simmons & Simmons, Baringa Partners and Freshfields.

Gary Chatfield, a retired former director of the National Crime Agency gave his insight of his experience of working in the field, discussing the processes and lines of escalation which need to be in place when faced with a crisis.

Chetan Shah, founder of Micebook also shared his experience of being caught on an event in Paris whilst the attacks were taking place, when he was working for the Black Tomato Agency.

Finally Eda Ozden, who runs Meptur in Istanbul shared her career journey of working and living in a destination which has now been deemed to be a critical risk to incoming travel.

The event started with a panel discussion, with engagement from the audience using the new and innovative Duuzra App- where guests could give their feedback on the event, as well ask questions to the panel.
