Located in the Bowery district in lower Manhattan, the hotel features 367 rooms that have likened to cabins on a yacht and guests can self-check in on their mobiles.

The venue will offer a number of innovative private event spaces, spanning multiple floors, which include pre-function and outdoor areas, state-of-the-art technology and special menus. A light-filled space on the 17th floor will offer 360-degree views of the city while Public Arts is a multi-media performance space, suited to product launches, musical performances and late-night events. The Bowery Garden is an expansive outdoor terrace inspired by Tuileries Garden in Paris and the Gardens of Italy, suited to private events or al fresco dining.

The PUBLIC brand's first hotel opened in the Gold Coast neighbourhood of Chicago in 2011.
