Flybe is serving the Vienna to London-Southend route three times per week, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Bernd Behrend, sales & marketing manager of Stobart Air said: "London airport Southend is becoming increasingly popular due to its short distance to the city, quick baggage pickup and the train station located directly in front of the terminal. For this reason, we are pleased that this new Flybe flight service provides for an even greater selection of flights between Vienna and London, both for business travellers as well as for vacationers."
Julian Jäger, member of the management board of Flughafen Wien AG added that Vienna is linked to five airports in London by five airlines, with the new flight service offered by Flybe increasing the number of weekly connections this summer by three to a total of 88 flights.
