Fast Forward 15 graduation

Hotel Café Royal was the backdrop for the graduation of Fast Forward 15's 2016 intake on Friday (12 May).

The graduation lunch brought together industry figureheads to see the mentees share the impact of being mentored through achievements made in their personal and professional lives.

Mentees were selected after a rigorous interview process and drawn from corporates, agencies and suppliers. The 15 mentees had received structured development including presentation techniques, goal setting and help defining their own personal brand, as well as being collectively tasked with a charity fundraising challenge.

Secret Salon

Event professional gathered for an evening at a Secret Salon celebrating the history of Kent House Knightsbridge, organised by Evolve Events, on Wednesday (17 May).

1930s style singers welcomed everyone into the venue with Jimmy Garcia serving decadent cocktails as guests received a vintage makeover before having their new look captured in a retro photo booth.

Guests were escorted up the red carpeted staircase dressed with a floral peacock sculpture before entering the secret salon which was styled for an intimate soiree. Guests were entertained by swing dancers and world renowned magician David Redfearn whilst the King of Pop-Ups, Jimmy Garcia, served Millionaire Beef and Whiskey and Cigars desserts.

Later on guests were able to retire at the bar through a hidden entrance which featured elements for the Christmas Party Like The Royals package, including a glamorous bespoke bar with gold and red regal features. Event professionals mingled over espresso martinis and indulged their sweet tooth with an assortment of cakes at the Decadence Bar whilst usherettes roamed providing ice-creams with an alcoholic twist.
