Javed will be responsible for attracting new business to CentrEd, from the corporate and agency market, as well as managing relationships with existing clients. He joins the team from NEC Group, where he was responsible for selling conferences and meetings, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and industry experience.

Commenting on the hire, James Rees, executive director, ExCeL London, said: "This year will be our busiest ever year for conferences and events, with twice as much business placed with CentrEd compared to 2016. We now have two established venues, with ExCeL London and CentrEd at ExCeL, that require a dedicated sales and marketing effort. It is therefore enormously beneficial to welcome Arum with his experience of selling smaller conferences, training and meetings. We are delighted that Arum has joined our team and wish him every success in his new role."
