ALHI appoints Mark Gorgon as VP, UK and Europe

Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) has expanded its global sales team with the addition of Mark Gorgon as vice president, U.K. and Europe.

In the newly created role Gorgon will assist meeting professionals, association executives, incentive specialists and business executives throughout Europe who are interested in conducting meetings, conventions and/or incentive programs at any of ALHI’s member hotels or resorts.

Prior to joining ALHI, Gorgon served for six years as director, global sales, meetings & incentives for Fairmont Raffles Hotels International (FRHI Hotels & Resorts), which is now part of AccorHotels.

Commenting on the appointment, ALHI’s chief sales officer Mark Sergot said: "Mark is a very dedicated, accomplished and highly motivated sales professional with terrific global experience within the luxury hospitality sector. I worked with Mark for many years at Fairmont, so I know what a wonderful asset he is to our growing ALHI Global Sales team."

Gorgon added: "I am very proud to join such an exceptional organization as ALHI, and I look forward to serving planners in Europe on behalf of ALHI’s truly distinguished hotels and resorts and Global Luxury Alliance members around the world."
