The 546-room five-star hotel opened last week (28 April) and can be found overlooking the iconic Victoria Harbour inside a 16-storey new-build property. With a host of indoor and outdoor spaces, including a 25m rooftop pool, bar terraces and a garden accessed via the lobby, the hotel looks set to be a prime attraction for conferences and incentives.
More than 60% of the hotel’s rooms feature panoramic views of both Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong skyline while a 294sqm Presidential Suite and an exclusive lounge are also on offer.
The hotel is home to Hong Kong’s largest pillar-less ballroom, measuring at 1,756sqm and able to host more than 1,000 delegates for gala dinners and conferences. The space is also equipped with the city’s largest LED wall and is decorated with nearly 20,000 overhanging rock crystals. A second ballroom is also on hand for planners, which measures at 1,125sqm, while another 16 meeting spaces can be used for smaller gatherings.
All five of the hotel’s restaurants, including Hung Tong – the property’s signature restaurant, and the all-day dining eatery Big Bay Café, feature outdoor terraces overlooking the harbour. Guests can sip cocktails while admiring the view and enjoying live music from a 270-degree wrap-around outdoor space at hotel bar Red Sugar.
