The two-day event was chaired by broadcaster and journalist Clemency Burton-Hill, with delegates from a wide range of assocations in attendance, including Assocation of Applied Biographylogists, European Tourism Association, ILEA UK, One Young World and The Fire Protection Association.

Across the two days, attendees gathered for a series of presentations and panel sessions, including developing winning sponsorship models, the future of social media and the value of using event technology.

Speakers included Alex Xavier, assistant director, (head of events) and member services at Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, Agnes Gomori, head of events at Urban Land Institute, Rebecca Gleave, marketing manager at Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM) and Francesca Treadaway, communications manager, also at ISM.

Alongside content sessions, delegates enjoyed a flight on the British Airways i360 on the Brighton seafront on Monday evening, as well as an icebreaker session facilitated by Wildgoose Events and a gala dinner at the hotel.
